Merry Christmas Amelia Island! Every year I usually can't stand Christmas with the crouds, shopping, deadlines and ridiculous advertising. Why you can say Merry Christmas...why you can't say Merry Christmas....I don't know what sounds politically correct nowdays. I do know I love Christmas because my wife is the best cook I've ever seen outside of one of those television cooking shows. What's the downside to my wife's wonderful cooking? I used to enjoy salmon, pasta's, soups and desserts away from home. NOW....I compare these to my wife's cooking and realize I just paid someone to "not cook as well as my wife". Geesh!
The picture above is minestrone soup she made from scratch last week and was literally the best minestrone soup I've ever had.
I have no idea what induced my wife to marry me...but thank God I was persistent because her cooking (and family) is really what Christmas is all about.
